ABACHA
Abacha, often called "African Salad", is a traditional Nigerian delicacy from the Igbo community made from processed, shredded, and dried cassava tubers. It is served as a savoury snack or meal, combined with palm oil, ugba (oil bean), potash, crayfish, spices, and often garnished with garden eggs and fish. The added protein and vitamins from ingredients like crayfish and palm oil further enhance its nutritional value.
